Rome Stale Mod Snowboard
The Stale Mod is the hard charging beast of a board found under Ståle Sandbech’s feet when it’s time to go big. Riders who need ‘last minute, lip of the jump’ style response know that positive camber is the only way to go. Reinforced with Rome’s Twin Double-V Carbon Omega HotRods and lightning fast SinterSpeed base, you’ve got the recipe for viral clips and a shelf full of hardware.

Stay Positive – Powerful and predictable, tried-and-true camber.

Flex Rating – 8/10 (1=Soft,10=Stiff)
Shape
True Twin – Boards built with fully symmetrical specs; sidecuts, flex patterns, camber profiles and nose and tail lengths. True twin boards are great for riding switch.
Core
Carbon HotRods – Thin rods of carbon that are milled into the boards core starting at the insert pack and extending into the nose and / or tail. Carbon HotRods are super responsive and powerfully snappy.
SuperPop Core – Rome’s lightest and most responsive core, built with alternating strips of 10mm strips of poplar and 20mm strips of paulownia.
Twin Double-V – V-shaped HotRods in the board’s nose and tail; next level snap and pop.
Omega Construction – Omegas are the next generation of responsive, ride-anything tech. Made of carbon, the Omegas act as housing built around the HotRods, and are designed to provide additional power and responsiveness.

Biax Glass – Fiberglass with two different axes, built to be torsionally more playful and pressable.
Flax Impact Plates – These full woven flax constructed plates covers and reinforces the insert pack and are designed to make the boards more durable. Flax Impact Plates help absorb impact and add increased strength without changing the boards flex pattern.
Base
SinterStrong Base – Hardworking easy to fix sintered base that hauls ass everywhere.
