The Santa Ana 84 is where power and performance come together in one amazing package. The Nordica Santa Ana 84 Skis for women are the newest creation and are sure to give your legendary bang for your buck. The Astral Series is brand new line for Nordica. It is an all mountain ski with a durable Poliamide Top Foil topsheet, a Titanium Hex Bridge layer, and an Ultralight Balsa Wood Core. The Santa Ana-inspired tip initiates shorter radius turns and sets edges on groomed and packed snow. The Sentra-inspired tail is squared off for increased carving power and stability.

TECHNICAL SPECS
Energy 2 TI Construction — Combine a performance wood core, ABS Sidewalls, GR400 Carbon Glass and a TI layer and the result is a plush and playful ride, surfy feel that’s easy to steer and at home in soft snow, great on powder and crud and a quick, playful and versatile ride.

Terrain Specific Metal — By adding the same shaped metal plate inside the skis, it increases proportionately with the decrease of the last. Trough this technology, we were able to design unique constructions better suited for different terrain. The narrower Santa Ana have more power and stability on trail, while the wider constructions are more enjoyable off-piste and on softer snow.

Geometric Running Base Design — A specific geometric shape to show two features of the ski: a horizontal cut indicates where the rocker starts; the intersection of the diagonal cut with the edge shows the ski’s widest point

True Tip Technology — By trimming the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, Nordica is able to increase playfulness and maneuverability of the ski while maintaining the classic powerful and stable feel that we all love so much. 

Carbon Reinforced Chasis — The new carbon-reinforced chassis weighs about 35% less than traditional glass. Full length carbon strips not only reduce the chassis’ weight, they also increase the ski’s strength and stability. The result is a stronger, lighter, more stable Enforcer that’s also more playful and versatile.
