Nidecker Thruster 2023 Snowboard
Nidecker has poured decades of experience shaping performance snowboards into this new all-mountain charger. Introducing the Thruster. Combining elements of their previous best-selling models, the Platinum and Rave, with the latest in 3D design, the Thruster is made for aggressive high speed carving. It’s built on the lightest core in the Nidecker line, with a powerful camber profile and a super dense N-9000 sintered base that minimises drag. Trust us when we say this thing is blazingly fast. SideKick tips raise the wide points off the snow, making it smoother to engage the edges and helping the nose plow through deep snow and crud. Added carbon and an Absorbnid topsheet deliver a stable, chatter-free ride even when your eyes are watering. The name of the game here is control. It’s a missile, sure, but it’s laser-guided.
Camber Profile
Positive Camber – Positive Camber is the bedrock for performance snowboards, its extra grip and powerful response have made it the default choice for riders looking for optimum carving performance. The secret to Nidecker’s advanced camber is the addition of 8 to 10cm flat transitions at the contact points, delivering the ultimate in precision, edge hold, and stability.

Premium Sandwich – This next level construction steps up the power and response of the standard sandwich manufacturing. Adding advanced materials like Carbon and Kevlar® gives the board more pop and improved shock absorption.
Triax Plus – Oriented 45 degrees to the board and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.
Pop Carbon – Strategic placement of carbon fiber from the tail to the rear inserts, and from the nose to the front inserts, resulting in a more reactive board, with increased pop and stiffness.
Base
N-9000 – Developed exclusively for Nidecker, the N-9000 is an extremely tough, sintered base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide.

Absorbnid – This innovative top layer has been developed to absorb unwanted vibrations allowing for responsive and dynamic boards that still give you a smooth and comfortable ride.
Binding Compatibility
2×4 – 6 Inserts – With 6 rows of inserts every 2 cm, this combination is the industry standard and works with all bindings on the market. The reference stance is the middle position.

2.5º Canted BankBeds – Full length EVA footbeds with 2.5º canting for optimized fit, support and energy transfer.
Power Triangle – The Flow high-tensile steel cable creates a structural triangle between highback and baseplate for optimum energy transfer and quick, easy, and efficient turns.
Highback
ASYM UNIBACK FUSE – The 1-piece Asymmetrical Fuse UniBack is a lightweight hiback shaped for a perfect fit with the boot contour and canted riding angles, and delivering a wider range of support for more drive. Molded in our Glass-filled Nylon material on the Fuse, Omni and NX2-TM, they deliver a great balance of response and playfulness.
Straps
Active Strap Technology – Dual-Entry has never been more convenient without sacrificing the performance, comfort, and power transmission that Flow bindings are famous for. With Flow’s revolutionary Active Strap Technology, the strap automatically lifts up when you open the reclining highback and actively tightens again when you close the highback.
