Now the ARV JJ 116 Ultralite comes with a re-designed Caruba core to maximize the pop and responsiveness in-between pillow tops fan tree lines. Now with a stiffer core and new beveled sidewall, the JJ can cut the tightest lines and hold on the hardest snow when you need it. TECHNICAL SPECS
AR Freestyle Rocker — Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber under foot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground.

Caruba Core — The lightest wood core material creates the best uphill feel while retaining the power and damping characteristics required for descending the gnarliest terrain. This core makes no performance concessions in its quest to be ultra-light.

AR75 Sidewall — Sidewall on 75% of the ski to allow for weight savings on tip and tail while maintaining ridgitiy and drive in the prime zone.

Smear Tech — Smear Tech – A 3D Beveled base in the tip and tail creates a unique feel in all snow conditions. Less likely to catch in crud, self-centering in deep snow and un-catchable on takeoffs, Smear Tech lets you float effortlessly whether sliding forwards, backwards or sideways.

Lightweight Edge — Light and strong, this heat-treated edge minimally affects the feel of the ski to ensure a snappy, lightweight feel.
